I recently purchased a 52mm bayonet adapter to use with my 52mm threaded filters and I am a little disappointed. It didnt occur to me until I actually tried it that the adapter blocks some of the flash causing dark shadows to appear in the lower right hand side of images.... Has anyone found a work around for this other then a slave flash unit? Also, when using a slave flash, how do images turn out? I was thinking some type of small tube adapter that could be fitted over the flash to direct the light to the end of the bayonet would suffice but I have no clue on how to go about building or buying such a device.
This leads me to the second part of this query, has anyone tried the 37mm Bayonet by Bower? It seems to taper off at the end, does it still cause problems with the flash or AFAL?
