I just bought my first L lens and now want to protect my gear more seriously. Now I just put everything on a bookshelf away from direct sunlight but in a sun lit room. I've had my share of lens coating eaten by mold/fungus.
I've read about people using big tupperwares with silica-gel bags. Finding silica-gel bags for sale is hard here in Brazil.
I've seen (but don't know where) a plastic bag (like those thermal containers) aluminum colored where it uses a small resistance of about 15W to keep the inside warm and dry.
Are there other options? Which way do you people store your lenses?
