I'm sitting here with the default web template when RC2 was installed and was wondering whether there are any special instructions (besides the sticky) on editing html and creating my own page layout?

Is it as simple as keeping all image placeholders and code in tact but adjusting the layout to my liking? If there's a good topic on this which outlines or provides a site map, it would be great!

Colors, fonts and graphis are in style files.

Html layout of photo and list pages are in pagetemplates folder. Ignore index template for now.

Index page layout settings are in misc settings editor.

Template files have pretty self-explanatory variables which you can place in template file pretty much however you like. I'll have you a full explanation of those variables next week.
