Just downloaded a trial version of ACDSee, edited a photo and attempted to print it. It printed out entirely black. Anybody run into this problem and have a solution? All help appreciated.

Not sure of what happened but ACDSee has poor color management, try using PS Elements or what other software do you own?

I don't own anything really. I have the software that came with my Canon A70 (Photoview and Arcsoft), Printmaster's photo editor, and . I'm in the process of exploring my options via free trial versions. I had hopes for ACDSee until the printing thing, but I must agree with you about the color management. Do you have any software recommendations, preferrably simple to use and easy on the wallet?

I would start off with Adobe Elements 2 or Paintshop Pro both around $100.00. Good basic software with an easy learning curve.
