Congratulations to the photog's that made it this far. You are one step closer to having your image printed in the First P.O.T.N Photo Book!

In this Poll you will find the finalists for the Birds Share. Please review the images before voting. I would like to suggest that you make a list of the ones that you like best before voting. Once you have chosen your favorites narrow those down to ten (10) images. Then place your votes.

As usual with POTN Contests, do NOT vote for your own images! Such votes will be disqualified!

Do not encourage other members to vote for your photo(s) in any way. Doing so will disqualify your photo(s).

Voters must be members that joined prior to November 1, 2006. Please vote for ONLY 10 images. Each member can vote for 10 images, if you vote for more than ten images, the images you voted for will not receive your vote in the end calculations. We set this number to be fair to all participating members.

You can find the IMAGES HERE (http://potn.smugmug.com/gallery/2160705)

Again congratulations to the photog's that made it this far and happy voting.

Remember only vote for your favorite 10.

Voting Ends March 11, 2007

Bald Eagles were over for me a long time ago.

Great shots there all.

God, I'm done voting and I have to say there are some excellent bird shots here. Wow. No wonder I stick to shooting people instead..

Ahhh.... :) I am guilty of procrastination.... :) I was trying to finalize my votes tonight and MAN!! It is tough to make a decision when the work is all so excellent.

I want to Congratulate ALL of the entries in the bird category... I am having the most difficult time trying to choose just 10 that I think are excellent.. It is not easy and I have gone over my list several times to knock out a couple more... I had no idea it would be this difficult.

Why has the voting been extended, just curious ;)

In a hope to get more votes. Its a bit sad that number of voters is less than the number of members actually submitting photos in some shares at least.

I see, I think its too time consuming for some to look at all the photos and make proper judgements

Extending the voting period only serves to increase the amount of votes. The percentages each photo garners probably won't change at this stage.

True, but this has always been a forum project and we hope to get more members included in the process.. :)

Of all the topics, this one was the hardest for me to narrow down. Outstanding work, all!
