RULES:
Do not vote for your own images. If you vote for your own your vote will be disqualified

Do not encourage other members to vote for your photo(s) in any way. Doing so will disqualify your photo(s).

Voters must be members that joined prior to November 1, 2006.

Each member can vote for 10 images. Please vote for ONLY 10 images.

If you vote for more than ten images, all the images you voted for will not receive your vote in the end calculations.

In this Poll you will find the finalists for the 'People' Share.

PLEASE VOTE for your favourite 10 images to go into the first POTN book :D

Please review all the (135) images before voting.

I would like to suggest that you make a list of the ones that you like best before voting. Once you have choosen your favorites, narrow those down to ten (10) images. Then place your votes.

Congratulations to the photog's that made it this far. You are one step closer to having your image printed in the First P.O.T.N Coffee Table Book!

Remember only vote for your favorite 10.

And remember: A few things to remember about this contest:

If you vote for any of your own images then ALL your votes will be disqualified.

Some of the Share Contest allow 5 votes, some 10.
If you vote for too many images then ALL your votes will be disqualified.

If you joined after 1 Nov 2006 don't bother voting. ALL your votes will be disqualified.

All votes will be checked, and the above rules will be enforced.

How come this rule wasn't included in any of the other voting areas? Is this only for the People vote?

It is being included just not all the posts are updated yet. And come on guys, think about it. It's common decency not to vote for your own!

Because it was assumed that everyone already knew it , and that it was obvious; but clearly that was not a good assumption!;) :D

Just a thought.

Would it not have been better to only disclose the status of the vote AFTER voting has closed. I don't think it's beneficial for everyone to see how others have voted during the voting process.

It wouldn't happen in any other voting process, so why here?

The forum software simply do not offer that option. The poll need to be public so we can check how many times everybody votes.
