Cant believe Harvick won it the way he did. Not to say it was wrong but it sure as hell was exciting to watch. I like the first one the best, what camera did you use?

I agree. If it were any other drive they would have put Harvick into the wall to win. He would rather lose then play dirty.

LMAO I thought the same thing, if he had only put a doughnut in the left side of Harvick he might have won:p

I would have to agree with you. I noticed while looking at my pictures I have many of the same thing over and over. :(

Ok, I was gonna say that on TV it was a magnificent sunset with a glowing orange sky (wish we could have had that for the Rolex 24) and why werent there any shots of that? It was a great opportunity for some beautiful shots. But if you were working then, I understand. Too bad, try to take advantage of that next time.

I wish I could have still been there for that. We always need to back at our post usually 50 laps out!

Good shots.

It might have been a boring race on tv but nothing is like smelling that fuel laden air, the roar of the engines and having a beer with 200,000 of your friends. Sorry to say I didn't make it to work today.

I hate to say I couldn't have any of the beverages. Since I was working. I took all the shots from top the of Winston Tower (opps Nextel tower now). You can still smell the burning tires and the roar of the engines was great.

Well that answers my question on viewing the pics - you were obviously a long way up!

Yes I would have loved one of those lens cannons you have! There were a few up there with that type. Way out of my price range.

What were you doing there? I was working also - for FoxSport's Best Damn Sports Show Period. I walked around with LeeAnn Tweeden all day talking to drivers, celebs, sportscasters... I'm a freelance audio engineer. I didn't have a camera with me, so I got ZERO pics. :( I should pick a small point & shoot for these situations.

Also, did anybody see the segment "Photo Finish" with Chris Myers? I did audio on that too (a couple of weeks ago).

I work for the Florida Highway Patrol. That is the only reason I was able to get on the roof of the tower with no tickets!

Very nice! You could actually see the entire racetrack. Where I was standing (infield) you could see pretty much none of the track. We were watching it in the monitors in the pits.

I made the comment to my cameraman when we got to town Sat. night that I would hate to be a police officer in Daytona that weekend!

Yes it is a long weekend. But for the most part most of the race fan appreciate what we do. Just trying to get them in and out as quickly and safely as possible.

I have 1 step up for my colour, set on my camera, some of the cars, depending on the colour got that ! I sure did learn alot after I go home and after I printed some of the pictures. I will be better on round 2, maybe at a track that they don't do 200mph on.
