My nephew....

We spent the weekend at my parents camp with my sister and my nephews. I had the kids out for a walk and got my nephew to pose for a couple of pictures. This normally doesn't happen to often, he's not one for having his picture taken. I think that they turned out really cute. Comments welcome.

I think they came out pretty good, #2 looks a bit soft, can the snow in the background confuse the camera in this way? I know what you mean about not wanting his picture taken, I usually have to sneak shots in of my family. I have to stalk them around the house till they're not paying attention.

I had a really hard time getting just the "right" settings all weekend. I do think that it had a lot to do with the snow. These are the best ones I've gotten of him in months. My other nephew, no problem, he loves to pose for the camera!!

#2 would have been my favorite with some adjustment.
IMO its cropped a bit low/close on his head, just shifted the camera up slightly.
And it looks like the camera focused on the tree (the bark next to his face looks to be more in focus to me) instead of him/his eyes.
Otherwise I like it. I would have dodged the eyes just to make them shine even more. Its a great mischievous smile tho, I like it...
