Making Frames

I am a newbie at photography and even more so with photoShop 2, but I do have several flower pictures that I really like and I would to know how to put simple frames around them in ps2. Can anyone show how to do this or direct me to a tutorial on this please?

I am not a pro but hope this helps a little...

1 OPen you photo
2 Click in the upper tool bar "Image"
3 Slide down to canvas size
4 Adjust the canvas size propotionaly (Bigger) select a color and your done
5 Repaeat for different sizes and or colors
