Here I go, trawling through my files again. I must stop doing this as I keep finding interesting shots. These show the 100-400L at shorter lengths.

These were taken, believe it or not, at an Aston Martin Owners Club race meeting last year. Like a lot of club level race meetings in the UK they are 'padded out' with races from other clubs to make a full day's racing.

One of the races was the Anglo-American Challenge, and the winner was ...... the Mustang. Ah well, at least the driver was a Brit. :D

This was taken at 200mm F16

This one at 130mm F20

My 100-400L does not live all its life stuck at 400mm

They are some nice shots, and they are getting me anxious to go to my first race this year. Most likely the first one I can get to will be a vintage race, too.

By the way, I was noticing the 'door handle' on the Mustang, and it looks suspiciously like an engine lid (bonnet, if you will) latch for an air-cooled VW Beetle or Bus. It certainly is not the Ford factory door handle. Cute  :) :D And how did you get that mirror image effect so that the steering wheel on that American Iron appears to be on the 'passenger' side  :D
