What, guys, do you think? Do you like it? Any feedback will be appreciated.

I really like it. I admire the fact that you dont have a lot to work with there. (The spectrum sucks, you have brown, light brown, dark brown, medium brown, orangey brown and grey!) But you did an excellent job on the composition. It looks both organic (DUH! It's a *tree*, I hear someone say!), but still also looks strangely mechaical - I can almost see a flochart. Start here, if stone brach left, etc)
To try to analyze it further, I think that eyes naturally drift top to bottom of the frame, the way the roots dispurse, it facilitates that drift in a very pleasing manner, making this one that is easy to look at.

Ecobo, I find some of the smaller grasses and twigs a bit distracting. However, I find the photo interesting. I'm thinking what would be the impact if you rotated the photo 180 degrees.

I really like the idea you have behind this this, I have often noticed this same twisting, writhing, system of roots and you have captured that well. My only concern is as said before:

the lack of spectrum or some vibrance in lighting, a bit of contrast even.
:D Without that in mind its a nice shot.

Hi guys!
I rotated the photo and the result is very pleasant.
Also, I converted the photo to B&W using the blue channel only and it's OK.
The bad news are that the FTP connection to my host server sucks and I cannot upload these photos for you to view them. Sorry. I'll try later.
Thanks all for your help!
