It stands for the Media Access Control address. You can find your by typing "ipconfig -all" into a command prompt window. Where it says "physical address", thats you mac address.

It sure would be nice not to have to shell out almost a grand for wifi. I have set up a few of the current add on's and they work pretty well and if you are on a tight deadline and have a partner they can edit and upload while you are still shooting. If it does I hope it is 802.11N

;) You folks are so ahead of me in techno mombo jumbo talk with your 802.11N, Wi-Fi, MAC adress...right now I'm just glad I know where the on / off switch is on my camera, and I swear I'm gonna learn about how to use the rest of the buttons ;)

What's wrong with a card reader? I would rather they focus the price and features on aspects of the camera that actually affect the image quality and not bells and whistles.

I suppose on the flip side of the coin WIFI could make your life easier by not having to wait to transfer photos. It seems like pure luxury to me though.
