drink anyone?

tried to come up with something a bit different for the club competition this month, subject blue. I built a light tent, and this was my second go at shooting with it.

justin, i am too embarrassed to show photos of my tent, it is a real hotch botch job. I cut 4 square holes in the sides of a box, and covered with white fabric. I have white cardboard inside, curving up so it is seamless. (the bottom of the box has become the back). I had a lamp sitting on the corner top, and 2 in front, shining up.
Nick, had to wait till the entries for the comp were closed! You never know!

hotch botch or not the results are great, how did you create the smoke looking liquid?

aha!! secret!! actually, it is food colouring in water. I set everything up, made sure the settings were correct, and then dropped in a couple of drops of blue colouring, and took pictures as it swirled around. This one looked the best.
