Hi
I am on a Powerbook Osx 10.4.8 looking to upgrade phones . I want to get a 3G to use as a modem for sending pics when on the move any advice?

You can get a smart phone and setup sharing . I think that you can get unlimited data on a smartphone for about 20. a month.

He's in England... Where everything is more expensive! Blackberry is probably your best bet. they run, what, like £40 a month?

T-Mobile have some good data tariffs if you think you'll be using it a lot. One downside with T-Mobile is some say their coverage isn't as good as some over networks, so check out your area first: - http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck/
As for what handset, I wouldn't have thought there would be much difference as far as modem goes, so I'd pick something based on what other features you want.
