How much would you pay for an all around lens?
16-300 IS L F 1.2 or 1.8 or even 2.8 ?
Even if they took the 28-300 and made it a f2.8?
What would you prefer and how much would you pay?

I would pay from $3000 to $5000, but I am pretty sure it would cost more than that.

If they made a 10-300 f/1.8L IS, I would pay about $6000 for it.

yeah 10-300 would be awesome especially at 1.8 or even 1.2, But I think the front element would be like a 8 inch diameter to let enough light through or something

The question isn't what you would pay for, but more of whether the optics could handle the swings in perspective. The distortion in a 10mm and the types of build that go into such a super wide angle lens really don't fit into a zoom of that magnitude. It is like putting a square peg into a round hole. You can do it, but the square peg is going to have to give up something to get in. Hope that helps.
