Took this today.First time i've taken a pic of this sort of thing.Taken on my 400d and a nifty fifty.Cropped the image .Would appreciate some opinions please.

Like the pic. Great detail.
Maybe try using the rule of thirds for composition.

Think it may be the way i have cropped the image.Heres the image before i cropped it in CS2 .Do ytou think i should have maybe cropped in a different way ? :

I like the uncropped image better. Just crop out the stray branch on the left. and ur done...excellent bokeh

I like the crop on the second shot better. And I love the cobweb in the first shot.
