Any D60 / D30 User...
Does the D60 viewfinder accurately replicate the actual image captured by the camera? I assume the 1.6x multiplier effect should affect the viewfinder as well as the image captured....
I know, probably a dumb question, but....
Thanks

I took alot of action photos (go to my website then page 4) last week.
the first problem i had was when the viewfinder was ...as i thought close up on the players, it was not.
the actual shot taken had far more than was shown in the viewfinder.
for the rest of the game i assumed that what i was seeing was About 70% of what would actually be recorded.
i used a 75 - 300 and as you can imagine at the 300 end i thought i was inches from the players but after taking and looking at the LCD there was space around all sides.
took 90 in all and the later ones were not too bad and i had guessed pretty well.
this was with a D30.
i am however extremly pleased with the camera and results i get.

Thanks Terry
My fear was that the viewfinder would show more than what what was actually captured, cropping an otherwise well-composed shot. The other way round isn't as bad, and like you said, could be estimated.
Still waiting for D60 from B&H, so I'm stuck speculating alot...
Thanks for your input.
