In preparation for printing pictures ( in my case from an S50) when I apply noise reduction and sharpening to a picture should this be done in any order?

Secondly, how many of you use sharpening in your preprinting preparation?

Thanks for your advice

Chris

i used to have to sharpen all of my pics with my older olympus camera since it produced very soft images. i have not seen a need to sharpen my s400 or g5 pics...

maybe my photographic eye is a little off from others.. hehe :)

hi docker,
you usually want to sharpen last. if you resize for web, some times
you sharpen the resized pic again to clean it up prior to posting. a good
editer like PSE2 or PSP will do the job nicely.
