This will be my first Canon camera (yes I know, you are shocked) & first DSLR. The kit I am looking for purchase contains these 2 lenses

Sigma Auto Focus Lens 100-300mm II Super f4-5.6

&

Sigma 28-80mm Lens f3.5-5.6

Does anyone have experiences with these lenses? I have heard alot of bad reviews about the Canon lens that comes with the regular kit. I appreciate any input.

1400. Includes the 2 lenses I mentioned, plus a 5x high resolution professional wide angle lens that I'm not familar with (doesn't list brand) a tabletop tripod, a regular tripod (3-way pan and tilt head), filter kit, 256 mb flash card, a high speed flash card reader, a 'soft case' and a hard, suitcase type, lens cleaning kit.
