the a95 takes AA's not AAA's. the larger the mAh, the longer the battery will run.
look into a 1GB Compact Flash card, they shouldnt be too expensive right now.

I would suggest you look somewhere trustworthy online. The main issue with fakes has only really been on Ebay.
You don't mention where you live, so (assuming you're in the US), I'd recommend Newegg.com for memory cards. If you live in the UK, then go to mymemory.co.uk or 7dayshop.co.uk. Otherwise, I'm sure someone from you're country or area can point you towards a cheap shop.
Just a pointer - if you use a public forum, it's worth making sure people know what you're talking about by using correct spelling, and correcting typos. I find a spell checker built into your browser helps (eg IESpell).

SanDisk makes reliable memory cards, as long as you don't shop eBay for them - that's where most of the scammers seem to be. And looking at the smaller (1 GB or less) cards you're less likely to be scammed, since they're not expensive enough to be worth targetting. An on-line purchase from a place with a real brick-and-mortar presence is usually pretty safe.

Another A95 owner here. As already mentioned, there have been many reports of fake cards bought on Ebay. I have used CF cards from Kingston, Lexar, SanDisk and Crucial with my A95 and have had no problems. All were bought from reputable sources.

I'm using the Maha C401FS charger. For my purposes, works very well. Got it from www.thomas-distributing.com

I'll throw in another vote for the Maha line of products. I've used them for well over 5 years - all ordered from Thomas Distributing. Great company and great products.
