I don't get very many eshoots, but I always enjoy them. This is a super cool couple who's wedding I'll have the privilege of photographing in September!

I really like 4, and especially 7. I like the idea of #2, and everything about it except so much focus on the bottom of her shoes. Maybe if they were more to the side or something, but the pose, angle, and surroundings are nice in that one, and even that they're not in focus, just not the shoes. If they had something cool on the bottom that would be different. Sorry for going on so long! Thanks for sharing! :)

Hey Jamie, I like these.
They seem to have a different, darker contrast to what I'm used to seeing from you. Have you changed your RAW workflow? In any case, I like it.

Thanks Jess, Lloyd & Monter. No change in my RAW workflow (since I shoot jpeg), but there is a change in the camera. Everything but 2,3, and 4*, came from my newish 5D. I LOVE the jpeg files that the 5D produces!

*(2, 3, and 4 came from my N!kon D80)

hmmm, interesting. So just a change in camera huh?
Sometimes I miss the days of jpg shooting. I waffle between the two and am currently on the RAW side. Anyhow, good work as usual!

Thanks Joanna & Edik.

Joanna, the photoshop in #7 is a cross process action available for free on the Adobe Exchange (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm). The action set is called "Film & Grain FX Simulator" (search for it) and it contains a lot of really cool actions.

Nice work (again!)! 4, 5, 7 and 8 are my favorite.

I just wish there was no glare in his glasses in the first one. But I know it's sometimes pretty hard to avoid (just an idea: would a CP help with that? I would think so but I'd be very interested to know! I'll probably experiment with one to see ;)).

2,4,5 ...WOW!!!...for the 2 i always have trouble in situations like that with figuring out whether i want the focus on the closest subject or main subject ....after many test shots i figured that even though i like the effect i will stick to the main subject since that's where you tend to look for focus at the first place ...7 being beautiful shot ..i love the texture in it i think i would shout it straight and symetricaly ...hey but that's me ...you did a great job with these .. i love the mood in 5th
----
pictures i chose as my favourite we can easily call artsy pictures i think .....how do your clients react to pictures like that? ...because i tend to get a lot of comments like : "oh but i am not looking into the camera " or " but you can't realy see the face " (about silhuette picture) so what i am saying is that even though we as a society are being constatntly bombarded with more and more sophisticated visuals ...we stil tend to lean towards traditional posed ...well for me at least boring photography ....some of my clients do ...it is easier with my generation or generally younger people (is 27 still young :) but with my parents generation i always get this ....it is just in their blood ...whenever they see camera they have instant urge to pose "how should i stand ?"
so candids and artsy stuff is just out of range of their perception
what do you guys think ?
