Business Registration!

OK...this is a little gripe and a little need of advice.....

WHY does it have to be so freaking complicated to start a business? I'm so sick of filling out forms. Just found out today that i have to fill out 3 more. Grrrrr....

Anyway, when you all were starting up your businesses, did you hire a company to do all the paperwork for you or did you do it all yourself? I'm really starting to think that spending $500 on a company to do this all for us is sooooooooo much more worthwhile that me getting headache after headache from doing it all myself. What do you think??

I had an attorney handle mine took care of everything for 700. IMO it was worth it.

The State of Ct has a great website. Plenty of information, including what to be careful of. They charge $60. to file as an LLC, then they hit you up for $250 a year for a Business Entity Tax and an add'l $10 reporting fee. Anything more complex than a LLC, I probably wuld have used an attorney. Although I did consult with an acountant to find out about tax requirements.
