Al's '53 Mercury 255cid flathead puts out 125 horsepower. It's a great example of a "California Custom" from the '50s. Notice the antenna wells.
He's had it for 3 years & puts on about 3,000 miles a year.

That is an absolutely beautiful car and great shots of it. Black is hard to capture well but you did an excellent job. Thanks for sharing.

lovely car Frank and nice flat lighting you had too....the only thing about the car I don't like is the modern looking console inside that houses the radio etc, otherwise it's my dream car.

Black is hard to capture well ... Actually, I'd rather shoot a black one than a white one. The contrast of the reflections is more dramatic, where the white ones seem to suck reflections up & absorb them. I may be a little biased since I have a 53 Ford. Good for you! Why haven't we seen it yet? the modern looking console At least he tried to color coordinate it with the dice & interior? :D

Thats too cool!

I have a car show to go to tomorrow,,,,But its a 80% chance of rain. I don't know if I'm going or not.

I know most of the guys any way, I just wanted to get them all together at one time!

Good for you! Why haven't we seen it yet?

Here are a couple, nothing fancy just a couple I snapped at a local cruise. I keep saying I'm going to get some better shots of it but have not done it yet, keep doing others.
