Wow,
I must say, I love what you have done with teh 'wedding gallery' page, and even more so, your photography is delicious!!! Excellent job, I look up to people who can produce such beautiful images; I am slowly getting into wedding photography myself.
GREAT JOB

Wow, you have got some beautiful imagery in there! stunning!
It took me a little while to figure out the gallery. I purposely didn't read your instructions because a bride entering your site will also have no instructions.
I actually sat there for a minute waiting for the pictures to change or something. It took me a while to figure out that there was a scroll bar on the bottom! Hopefully visitors don't get confused by this. It is unique, but should be brainless to figure out.

Beautiful work! The scrolling gallery should have some instructions maybe a mini pop up that says to use the bar at the bottom of the page.
Warm regards,
Joe

Your website and your photography, especially, is stunning! But let me point to some small, but yet important details.
Here are my suggestions/personal preferences/questions:
Why do you have two wedding galleries? In the Flash animation, if I go on "Main Menu", "Wedding Gallery", I can see a list of B&G's galleries. I would prefer to keep everything in one place.
I'm not crazy about the gallery opening in a new window. I prefer to open new documents in tabs and having multiple windows opening on me bugs me (I'm picky that way ;))
When opening the gallery, the music restarts for some reason. It'd be better if the music would stream without interruption, regardless of the user's actions unless the music was actually changing.
On your main site, the music stopped after (quite) a few minutes after opening the gallery. You may want to check into looping it or finding some bugs in the code.
I am personally not too fond of the approach for the gallery. People are used of scrolling vertically, but not horizontally. At best, use a horizontal frame of thumbnails that can be "scrolled" by placing arrows at both ends, for example. You could have only one picture displayed that way. Another way would be to allow a drag and drop method (a bit like pdf files). It could offer more control to the scrolling vs. the slider or the arrows of the scrolling bar.
Loading was a bit slow. Not so to prevent me from looking at the gallery, but a bit slow nonetheless.
Also, all images are stored in memory because of the way the web site is made. Not all people have gigs of RAM in their computers to allow that many images all at once!
On your main Flash site, if I go see any section (gallery, information, etc), I cannot get back to the introduction screen with the slideshow. May be a good idea to add a link back so people don't have to refresh their browser to get to the intro page.
It is otherwise an excellent site and I'm sure that taking these comments into considerations would only mean making small adjustments to the site itself. Please also note that these are my personal preferences, not universal rules!
Well done!

I have to say that the photography is on a par with the best I`ve seen. Truely inspiring!
I`m not keen on some of the ultra wide angle shots-distortion of heads etc. but thats just me!
I don`t like the scrolling gallery. Some of the shots are bigger than the screen!
Once again, great work!

Superb photos, tons of really nice shots.
The website design just doesnt work for me though I am afraid. Ive been a web user, IT bod for a long time and I find the design confusing so I am pretty sure others would too ..... gotta say again your contents great I just dont like the website design.

Great work and very nice captures.
I find that things load too slow (your gallery and the flash site). You have some black and white images that is over 200k and that is quite excessive. Try the save for web in PS.
And regarding screen resolution, I would optimize it for 1024x768 as that is the most common of the smaller resolution. I would recommend gathering stats from your visitors rather than us as those are who you are making it for.
Another thing is that I found the horizontal scroll a bit unnatural. I love the look of it, but i hate holding down the scroll bar to scroll myself. If you can have it where it scrolls automatically when you hover the mouse to the sides, that would be much better.

I was always told to write for 800 x 600. My site is written for that. But I think in this day and age, 1024x768 is a good resolution to choose. My 800x600 user count is dropping monthly.
tony fanning, your avatar reminds me of Bruce Willis...

Wow, your images are stunning. Love them!
In the wedding gallery (which you specifically asked about) the scroll bar on the bottom is not a good idea. Something with big, obvious buttons screaming "Push me to go forward one image" and "Push me to go back one image" would be much better.
You gotta remember, most of us here are tech savy while a lot of your potential customer won't be. Gotta keep it simple.
Again, great images though!

I, too, think your images are really amazing, but I really didn't like having to scroll to see them. I wouldn't mind having to hit a 'Next' button, I just didn't like holding down the button. They didn't take too long to load for me, but the images are pretty large. Also, I found your prices page to look somewhat unprofessional. I think it's the layout. I just went back and realized your homepage didn't load for me the first time. The square in the middle was just blank. Hope that helps! Looking forward to seeing more images from you. Thanks for sharing! :)

Amazing images.
I think I must be the only one but I didn't really have a problem with the scroll bar. I just used my right arrow key and I was quiet happy with that.
From a business perspective it's good to have something different that will stick in the clients mind. They may see 100's of amazing photos from many different photogs and forget what belonged to who.
It's handy to have something a little different to the norm to really make it stick in that person's mind otherwise they may confuse you with the other 10 wedding photog's they've seen.
Just my humble .02 worth.

please please please use 800 x 600 I used to get a ton of support calls from someones grandma help! such and such a site wont let me see everything on this computer my daughter/niece/son/someone gave me when they got a new one!
Help I just gota see this!..
Answer 9 times out of 10.. sorry your monitor wont support the higher resolution.
When in the field you would be shocked at the number of old 15" monitors limited to 800x600 out there even being used on more up to date computers.
I hate flash for the same reason. Hard for people with bad eyesight to use because the text can not be made bigger and usability usually sux to start with.

Simplifying your site is essential. I found it confusing just because it was set up differently.
Your amazing images will sell themselves. No need for your website to be too different. Your images stand out Incredibly and won't be easily forgotten by any bride. Thanks, I will bookmark your site for inspiration, Emil.
