only had ringflash which is no good with Jumpers as you get severe reflection. I have cloned out the white rings but this deadens the eyes somewhat:

Ohhhhh! And just when I was getting to know the midges better. Thank God I like jumpers too! Good catch. ;)

great capture, found a jumper with a moth last weekend, it was in what we call in NZ a flax bush, tried to get a couple of shots but they weren't no good , but as soon as it seen me it went deeper into th e bush, wish i could get closer, but oh well

I would like to see the original shot also with the ring light catchlights.
It is a shame it wasn't a Mosquito it had caught. I can't stand Mozzies.
Overall though I love the shot it's got a good range of focus
What lens was this? MP-E 65mm?

sorry didnt keep the origainal but basically all the eyes have an incomplete circle of light in them. Taken wiith MPE65 but took a few of Jumpers with my Sigma 150 today which I am about to process.
