I would like to add an avatar to my profile. When I resize any of my images to 80 px x 80 px I end up with a blob of pixels. How have you clever people resized your images?

I uploaded a full size pic to my hosting service, let them resize it, and then linked to the small size.

I use Photoshop CS2 and Fred Miranda's "Web Presenter Pro" script to resize.
