View Full Version : Which is the best Sigma 70-300?

Been looking for a budget zoom in the 50/70-200/300mm range and it seems there's a consensus that the best for the buck is the Sigma 70-300 APO. But it looks like there's at least 5 different version made by Sigma! Whats up with that? Theres the APO, one with the DG APO, then the Super Macro I and II.... Yikes!!Please help on which is the best and latest version? I'd like to buy one this weekend.

I believe you are looking for the Sigma APO DG 70-300.

APO DG MACRO is the latest version. Its an a superb lens for the money.

yeah, the macro is pretty nice on it for a cheap lens. Only $150 or less.
