Was shooting a concert yesterday evening, when suddenly I realized that all the lcd on my 300D showed was white.
Bright, shining, blinding white.
Then it showed everything blurred, then the picture rolled like a bad TV set.
And now it's white again....
I wonder if it could be caused by condensation? It's winter here in Denmark (sort of, lots of snow, but the temp. is only around -3-5 celsius) and I was outside for around 30 min. on my way to the venue.
I let it warm up for an hour and it worked just fine, until I noticed the white.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it the screen or could it be the controller?
I'm just going to find me a Canon repair shop and get an offer on the repair.
On the brighter side (pun intended), my pictures from yesterday are ok. Not as many keepers as if I had the histogram, but not bad at all.
