I am trying to find a toploader type case that I can carry my 10d with my 100-400IS attached. As Spring has nearly Sprung I want my camera at the ready when I am taking pictures of local bird life.
Any ideas? Everything I see is too small (or too expensive)

No problem Steve, check it out, you can carry it in front of you, so you will be ready to draw and shoot, and I believe that is the biggest top loader in their selection, and will take a 70-200mm in there. With a BG-ED3 attached too.

Just checked it out and can pick one up for just under £60. I will check out ebay and see if there are any around second hand

It seems everyone is selling them for £59.99 Steve (Warehouse Express, CameraWorld, etc.). It even takes my 1D with the 100-400L (hood reversed) quite comfortably.
As an aside, you can even fit a 300 2.8L IS with hood reversed and lens cap attached into the 75AW. It makes a cheap big prime carrier.
