he's carrying more weight than a soldier in WW1, never seen anything like it. Bet he's preorderd five MKIIIs. Whats with all the duct tape?

Well, if you knew the price tag of a lens hood for a 600 or 400 mm , you would know why he has protected it with tape. These hoods tend to fall of.

all the stickers on the lenses made me curious. It seems that Stena Line is a ferry company in the UK. I wonder why that is all over his lenses and hat?

Maybe they are his sponsors?

he is in training for a the new olympic sport of sports shooting.

Kind of like figure skating, but for the technicals you have to get the subject in the 1/3 position instead of doing a triple lutz.

Many togs put stickers on their kit to define what is thiers. Imagine your at a fball game as a pro and you put your camera down and walk off to shoot something. Another tog could come up and think its his, or he could nick it.
By having individual stickers makes your lens stick out a mile.

Imagine if you have 20 Canon lenses in a row at a game it would be hard to find yours in that bunch without a sticker on it.

The gear is great, but why tuck your pants into your socks? There is no need for that.

Believe it or not: THE GUY IS MARRIED! (if you don't believe me, look at his left hand, third finger from the thumb :p)

On a second thought, if he can afford all that gear, he must be rich and money can buy love apparently ;)

Forgot to add about the fashion statement: knee caps will now be the norm for all photographers :p

"Oh wait my accreditation is right behind the 1D Mark III with the 600mm.... Or wait, was it the 300mm".

Showing up like this, it shouldnt be a problem not having accreditation to sport events! Haha
