Sometimes in the filmstrip thumbnails, I have 1-3 small dots in the upper right corner of my filmstrip thumbnails. They appear and dissapear under rules I don't yet understand. I tried to find their significance in help files with no avail.

Any ideea?

Look, these are the dots I am talking about. Group of three dots in my last two filmstrip thumbnail pictures.

I read this somewhere...

What are the three dots on my image in the grid view?

When there are three dots in the upper right of a grid cell, it means LR is still doing something to those images.
It could be doing many different things, from updating thumbnails to writing XMP data,
but any of them will cause an apparent slow down.
Let it finish with them for fastest performance. The dots will disappear when it's all done.

Great. Thanks. I wonder why Adobe did not think it is necessary to mention it in help files.
