Nice shot, if you were to make those caps on the gated "Y" red and blue I'd say that was one of our trucks.

The angle of the shot makes it look like the two 2.5" discharge ports are running over the top of the gated Y which would make it dysfunctional. I assume the angle is different than what it looks like there. Looks like an older engine from the paint job, but tough to tell, it just might be used often. Nice shot.

My guess in discharge one is forward of the Y and D2 is aft.

Are those your watermarks on the valve handles ?

This section of the firetruck was on the right side (if you are standing in front of the firetruck). I don't know what it's called or what it does (I'm guessing it's where the hoses connect?) but I thought it would make a good picture.

Yes, I do have my watermark on there...I guess that is the valve handles, I don't know much about firetrucks

That is the pump panel of a fire engine. This is on the driver's side of the apparatus. The 13/4" discharge hoses would connect to the 2 discharges. The gated wye is an intake. This will allow 2 lines to come in from the hydrant. A lot of apparatus manufacturers have moved the pump panel to the top of the engine. This allows a broader range of visibility for the engineer.

You're welcome. I spent many a fire there. Perhaps post a pic of the entire truck. That pic makes me think that it is a Pierce.

DOH! Ok, so I was wrong. It's an E-One. This is a top-mount pump panel. The engineer stands where the red bag is in the first pic. That gives him/her a somewhat unobstructed view of the fire scene. Nice pics. Keep them coming.

Thanks for the compliment, I'll jot down the info so I can put it with my pictures

Nice shots, I also like to check out other Fire Apparatus'. I spent many nights in Dothan, AL from my Ft. Rucker times. It's the best place to eat in that area. Conastoga's! My best place to eat there.
