Canon SDK delphi examples?

I just got the Canon SDK. Has anyone made any software that uses the remote viewfinder functions using delphi? Anyone kind enough to share them? :lol:

I can't find any examples on the net.

I thought there were some with the SDK or those are just the release
and capture ones?

No, I just downloaded the newest SDK (2.61 I think) and it only comes with image retrieval, and says Delphi is not officially supported :(

Thera are VB and C++ examples for remote catpure, image retrieval, and...can't remember the other one.

That was not my question.

Applying and getting it are 2 different things. Applying implies that not everybody will get it and as I don't work with programming profeesionally I don't want to go through a process that might refuse me getting the SDK. Getting the SDK would be purely for fun in my case.

Looking at the developer site they accept Personal / Private applications. It doesnt take that long to apply, not that many fields to fill. I dont see why they would turn someone down, unless they were outside of the area covered by Canon Europe (which you are not)

I havent looked at them for a while, I think I was using them with v7 of the SDK but as I recall there werent that many changes...

Yes please here as well. I've just got the SDk after waiting on Canon for a month or so.

Now I have it i find that there isn't any Delphi example code anymore. and my C++ sucks. :)

So if someone would like to email me their example code, I would be most grateful.

Hi..

I am now working on a prj that planning to use the sdk in my delph app. I am using delphi 5.0 and i am now researching on the sdk of cannon to do some resize and sharp/saturation control in my DC. If it is possible to have some info and guideline from anyone..T-T

The SDK doesnt provide tools to resize / adjust sharpness or saturation - unless by sharpness you mean focus and by saturation you mean colour balance etc. The only options you can set that 'resize' is setting the actual size of the image taken

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, and have to remote-control a Canon Rebel xti. I just received the CD from CAnon directly (version 6.1.2 from November 2003). I have found out the "GetPicture" app does not work - it generates meaningless error messages (i was never able to connect to my camera, much less try to take a picture). Does anybody have any source the can send me (delphi 7) that will allow me to take a picture via the camera's USB port?

Dear everyone,

I am also using Delphi (2005) and looking for code to use with SDK 7.3.0 that Canon sent me. It used to support Delphi prior to ver 6.0 but now does not and many of the ver 6 calls have been depreciated.

Would any one please have an up to date replacement for the pre ver 7 CDSDK.pas or other code examples for CDSDK ver 7.(1-3).0?

I'm trying to help friends with Canon PowerShot (50) and G7 series cameras.

I've been posting to http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/CanonSDK/messages but I am not sure how active that forum is any more.

Any help appreciated please.
