This is going to sound really weird, but I love my Sigma wide-angle 10-22mm. I love the distortion and depth I can get with it.
I use my 50mm f/1.4 a lot too.

haha, I know what you mean, check out my gallery, alot of the self portraits and some of the other portraits are with the 10-20, it really gives a great effect.

The 70-200 just gives it"balls" as I would say. The bokeh is extremely nice, and rewarding

Okay, you talked me into it. I just ordered the 50 1.8 from B&H. I figure it's cheap enough and not a big deal if I don't like it, but I've heard so much good stuff about it. I was going to order it through Amazon but the shipping to Canada with a lens hood doubled the price!

make sure to stop down to 2.0 at the very least, 1.8 is quite soft, I've found 2.2 is my sweet spot for most of my available light portraits.

But you won't be sorry. :lol:

Depends on the pose. I love my 85 1.2L, 135 2.0L or my 24-70 2.8. They all serve different purposes in my shooting.

I generally use my 50mm 1.8 or if I'm really creative, 28mm 2.8. I'm really looking forward to getting the 70-200 soon though.
