hi, and welcome to the forum :)
you have a lot of choices....it really depends on what you want your shots to look like, what lighting conditions you'll be shooting under (daylight, dusk etc)...
fisheye lenses are a favorite of a good number of SK8ers, but I wouldn't get that until later....
the sigma 10-20mm would be a good one, you will probably want one with a nice wide angle on it, that would be a good lens for you i think....many others out there though...check this link for a listing of threads here, most of them with a ton of sample photos...that should get you started... http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=141406
good luck :)

well, i would rate the fisheye type lenses as a bit of a novelty.....and if you don't have another lens then only having a fish as a wide angle would be a bit limiting, as all of your shots are going to have a huge amount of distortion, of course.
the fisheye effect can be eliminated in postproduction work, although i am not sure how, i have never done it myself.
if you have another lens to use along with it, then a fish would be awesome to have for SK8 shots, as they really look cool with that effect. you just have to ask yourself do you want ALL of your photos to have a circular distortion effect to them? :)
