Beauty Mark

I must have caught her in just the right light to catch the beauty mark.

This is a difficult shot to get exposure right Bright and Shadows on a dark and light bird. Not the best photo, but I liked the beauty mark.

The second shot was even harder to get with USM wanting to focus on everything but the bird.

Yes actually I have seen a dark spot on the head feathers before. Check out the spot on this male, but it is not as pronounced.
