As everyone I was impressed with the 1DMKIII however it still is a APS-H sensor 1.3X and 10MP and very fast.

However I do not plan to purchase this unit. I still want a 5D type with anti-dust faster fps anf FF sensor.

Will we see one at PMA I doubt it.

I will hang onto my great 20D until Canon releases such a model?

Maybe PMA will surprise us all! If not my wife will be very pleased to say the least.

I'm with you dude. 1DMKIII specs seems impressive, but 10fps is useless for me and I also prefer FF sensor.

I would also like:
-intergrated rf wireless flash control.
-weatherseal.
-intergrated WiFi.
-better focusing.
-HDR.
-intergrated verticle grip, but smaller then the 1D series and retain current battery (hotswappable)
-Dual flash media (ala 1D series)

I wouldn't mind it being price at 1DMKIII.

I guess that the Canon do not announce any other new model than 1dMKIII in PMA.
I was hoping to see replacement of 5D but it seems to be later so I save my money and just wait.

Here is latest info from PMA rumors

There might be just a little change for 40D but I can't believe it.

I may not have that much equipment compare to some of you guy, but I think I can still say that the wife would be very pleased if Canon stopped producing all other pieces of equipment that I don't currently own :p

I will throw myself in the ring with you all as well.

Not everyone is sports/event photographer...so the FPS is not what Im after. What about the Macro/Still Life/Studio Photographer? MP and FF sensors have their places...especially if you print your work larger than 8 x 10. I loved the features in the new Mark III but they fell short of addressing a great many needs of other types of photographers.

FF isnt that good for macro as it is harder to fill the sensor. I think the 1.3 crop and live view that can be magnified will be very useful for close up work. Seeing DOF preview on the lcd will be nice.

Seeing DOF preview on the lcd will be nice.

You can already do this with the DOF preview button. The live LCD preview doesn't really add much there. IMO the live preview is just for those hail mary shots where you're holding the camera at an extreme angle.

I too am waiting on a 5D upgrade. I love mine but would like to see anti-dust/weathersealing and 5 FPS. Lastly to be priced under the IDMK3.
