Another shot from Rome.
Maybe a little overprocesed in PS but I think it's nice.

The colours and exposure are great but I'm not sure about the composition. Why so much sky and so little bridge?

To be honest? No idea, the photo was taken as is. I did it but don't know why. Now that you mention....I wonder why.

Agreed, composition is boring. The center of focus is directly in the center of the image, which lends to a boring photo. The exposure however looks spot on.

quello castello e bellissimo. I would try to put the bridge as the center of the composition, and have it converge at the castello. Sounds like a touristsy way over done photo, but it would work.
I think your composition would have been splendid, had you been 20 ft higher.

The loss of detail in the shadows is not serious, because there is not that much of the scene that is in deep shadow, but the blown out highlights are cause for serious concern. Have you been checking your Highlight Alert after shooting? It is surely blinking madly in a large part of the sky. If you were shooting RAW, much of this problem could have been resolved in RAW processing.

It definitely reminds me of when I was there but that's about all. =/

Clouds highlights are over exposed, but nice photo!
