Charging Batteries in 400D Battery Grip

Hey all,
Has anyone tried charging the batteries in the EOS400D battery grip without taking them out? (By connecting the grip itself to the Canon charger)

Anyone willing to try? ;)

I didnt think you could connect the grip to the charger, I thought they used a different set of pins for the grip, I will have a look later and tell you if it works, what the hell :)

Doesn't sound like a very good idea. If I recall correctly, the batteries have a pin that connects to an internal temperture sensor so the charger knows if a battery is getting overheated (so the charger can stop before the BLAM!). I don't believe the grip connects this battery pin so if the charger does work, you risk blowing up your battery and grip. And then there's the bad idea of doubling the load on the charger itself..
