I like the color and the atmosphere of the shot, but think the fence covers up too much of her. Do you have any that show her looking at the camera? What were the conditions of the shoot? Cloudy? Sunny? Did you use a soft focus? How do you feel about her braces showing?

It was very cloudy, the right of the sky was black, I softened up with photoshop. I forgot about the braces sorry about that. I am still very new.

Never be sorry about your work. You've got to maintain a positive attitude about everything you do with your photography or no one else will either. While learning, see what kind of changes you can make for the next shoot and how it will affect the final output. If the client is happy, you should be too; otherwise you end up selling yourself short on the next assignment. Do you have any more from this series?

Scott,
I think it looks great! However, I would consider cropping out the "floating" hand from the right side of the image. You're on on your way with great gear and a good model and the location is nice too.

This forum is a great place to learn. Continue to post and learn from the critique offered.

I like the expression alot. The braces dont bother me, just adds to the teenager look.
The plant in the foreground bothers me just a tad., would suggest you clones that out

I like this shot. The braces are a part of her look.

I think I would crop out the "extra" hand and a bit of the top beam putting her face a little higher in the frame on a third.

Pretty girl, her hands aren't very flattering. I would suggest she do something else with them.
