I somehow wish this rant would work. But there is no one to fight, except the market. And the market can hardly ever be fought, in this case ad calendas graecas. If those people think they can change anything, they are fools. It would take every present and future pro to follow the exact same pricelist to achieve what they wish.
It is not the way world works. There will always be people prefering to compromise quality for more profit, and there will always be people that will do their half decent work for less money, and those people will always meet. Need I really explain more?

I guess there just isnt enough room for all of us. Some photographers will have to become Lawyers. Theres always room for more of them and you never hear their fees getting chopped up into little pieces. :cry:
I used to subsribe to PDN. Unfortunately it just got me made reading all the articles about how each publisher came up with a new scheme to defraud yet another photographer.
The manifesto just confirms what I alreadt knew. Were paying a LOT more money for short lived equipment and not getting the pay we should.
I'll give that website credit for trying to make fees known so that at least some of us can charge the going rates.
