Awesome guitar, Johnny at 63 years, look 83 plays like 23. Took a couple of shots, hand held with an SD700. First no flash, secon I used the flash.....comments please, I am new to concert photos. Tonight we go to see Van Morrison, I'm going to try to sneak a camera in.

The pics are a nice attempt at capturing some Johnny Winter stage action.

Might I recommend that you subscribe to a third party photo storage service, they are usually free...(I use photobucket.com) export pics to them and copy their links to your posting, giving you up to 8, pics at 800x600 through photobucket... Also check out our threads here as well...you'll find a lot of representative samplings of work by many of us who have gained a lot of experience, shooting concerts and posting here. lastly, read the Sticky at the top of this front page of this PA subject section...Frequently Asked Questions and Answers to them, is also very informative (second Sticky:).

First time I saw Winter in concert was 1979. The last time I saw him was 1999. It's sad what 20 years did to the guy...

Hey Thanks for the comments. I Don't know what happened to the second one. I have a photobucket account and did the cut and paste but I didn't want to go. I see the problem now. Thanks Bazair for getting the photo. VanMorrison was a disaster, not one clear shot, but I did shoot some Ok video. The show was awesome though!
