I shot this picture while I was practising my panning skills. Any comments on what I could have done different here? I know the girl isn't tack sharp, but this was the best out of maybe 15 shots.. Feel free to comment!

Yes, the picture is there now. Great shot...I love it! Not sure I feel experienced enough on panning shots to tell you how to improve.

WONDERFUL!!! I practice and practice panning and never get anything close to this..I love it!! Her face is sharp enough to make the picture! NICE!!

Jim7226 and mace002, thank you both for your nice comments! It took me quite a few shots to get some descent ones, but that's the great thing with the digital age. So keep that shutter pressed, sooner or later something has to turn out good!

Great pan shot IMO. Looks like you nailed that one, the colors and exposure looks really nice even with how difficult it is to shoot in the bright sun and snow.
for Pan shots like this I always try to get at least half of the rider/body including the face or COI in focus. This looks very close...... Not easy to do.
Looks like it may be time for a sensor cleaning?

Looks good to me. I was idly panning some passing trains at work yesterday - not easy to get it right but 1/30 like you used here does seem a good choice.
