I took a nice 4 hour long time lapse as a snowstorm moved into the area this evening, but now I need something that I can put the images together to an animation that can easily be played on the web. So essentially looking for something that can convert images into a .gif animation or a quick time movie; something on that lines.
I've tried like 5 programs already, but none of them do quite what I need.
Any suggestions?

Best way I know to do it would be Image Ready. It's not automated though so youd have to create it manually and depending on how many images you have it could take a while.

It is nearly 50 images, so I don't believe that way would work well...

If you have XP just use Windows Movie Maker. Import all the frames to the Bin then select all and set clip duration for all of them(probably 1/30th of a second in decimal. .03333333....). then drag them all to the timeline and export as whatever you like. This will give you a 30fps(frames per second) movie. Obviously you could set the clip duration for each to whatever you like to lengthen or shorten the movie. I would resize the lot of images before you import them to about 600x800 or 640x480. That way it wont lag too much.
I'm sure iMovie or some bundled apple software will do something similar.

Another option might be ProShow Gold or their premium flagship ProShow Producer.

I have used Quicktime Pro and Windows movie maker - they both work ok in small batches - but bog down when you are stringing together large numbers of images. Most of the stuff I do is industrial - need a large image size/resolution.... Lower resolution may be adequate for your needs. (BTW I have a pretty new PowerMac as well as a Core2Duo 'gofast' machine - both take some time to do this).

I've used Quicktime Pro to make timelapse from 10 and 20D files. The time it takes depends on the size of the files, eg 1920x1080 take a while.

I used windows movie maker to make my time lapses and it worked fairly well. Here is the one that is currently still available on youtube:
