A way to add my signature to photos the easy way

I have mad a gif image of my signature and saved it. I can add this to each photo by copying and pasting it there. My question is, is there a way to make a stamp or something like that in photoshop 8 where I could just stamp it in. Or maybe a brush could be made. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Create a new action file.
In the actions menu click record
Select type tool and select font, size, color> type your text.
Go to layers in the screen menu> layer styles> bevel and emboss.
When you are finished click stop recording on the actions menu.
Now you can apply the same text on any photo you choose and is editable.

The tutorial in this link is similar but is steered towards a watermark, meaning the text is more transparent. It may help also.

To make a brush, open your signature image, select all and then choose "define brush" under the edit menu.
