I cant post in the Glamour & Nude section but I just wanted you to know I really enjoy your work. You shoot some of the prettiest women I have seen. Do models grown on trees in Costa Rica? How does one go about finding models? Is there a fee involved? Is there a place where I can contact models for work?

Sorry for all the questions, but I really like your work and just wondered what was involved in shooting models.

Freddy really does do great work, and it doesnt hurt that his models are among the best I have seen. He does Maxim and FHM caliber of work and has the same caliber models if not slightly better.

Hey by the way Ronald, I got me a 24-70 and I love it. It was you buying and selling this lens that made me take a close look (I figured that although you kept selling it, it kept drawing you back for a reason.) So I took a look myself and fell in love.

Hey, what can I say? I speak the truth! The 24-70L is a phenomenal lens. I was never drawn away..just loved it so much, I could let it go to try another lens, knowing that I'd always go back.

Jason Cole is another I watch. Jason has made many post about his career and technique, for which I am greatful ;)

I just saw freddycrs stuff. Let's just say I am extremely jealous of him, and I know it doesn't matter how much equipment I get, it won't produce gorgeous girls like his models lol.

I've only had mine briefly, but boy do I agree! I'm leaving in a few minutes for a gymnastics meet and hopefully I'll be able to put this and my 70-200 to the test. If I get some good results I'll post them. If I get sucky results, I'll say I got great ones, but I don't have model releases yet. ;)

I have to agree with you, I love Freddy's work! I am a big fan of the G&N section and have asked for early access a few times to no avail. I have always wanted to ost on Freddy's stuff, but I'm never able to.

WOW... SO sorry I missed this thread.
Ok about the models...it´s an ongoing thing. I only pay models when I´m doing a commissioned shoot. All the others pose TFCD.
This is how it goes...I give out cards, (I mentioned that in another thread somewhere).
But I also get quite some hits from MySpace, and from referrals from the girls I shot.

I am quite picky with the girls I use for TFP. Some I just have to reject, because I don´t find anything that appeals to me in her expression, basically.
ANd that´s it. Luckily, I live in a country where women are quite pretty, in general..and also, I guess, I get good recommendations from the girls I have worked with, and the prospects usually like my work.
But it ain´t easy... ;)
