Had two games to shoot tonight. Im still getting frustrated trying to load photos on to here as they just look so much worse when they hit this page! Oh well here ya go.
Our Star defenseman...
Nice save to deny the shooter in the second....
Have fun I have one more to shoot tomorrow, and possibly 15 next weekend as the AAA girls tournament is up in Fond Du Lac.

Ross,
The second one is great, maybe a little bit of noise reduction required but otherwise a nice composition. Shame about the other stick but that's sports, we can't control the environment.
The first one seems a little dark, try using the shadow/highlight tool on it.

Ok well I tried to redo and load the original photo I had and my computer ate it! Im having issues with my mac freezing and I lost the info for the redo.
So I substitued the original shot with one of our cannon shooting defenseman.
enjoy.

I like the cannon and also the goalie. Took me a bit to find the puck :)
Nice shots. Are these with the 300?

Yea both were taken with the 300.
I am off to my last game of the weekend in about 30 min. Today we are going to pitch the Manager of the teams into hopefully paying for our hotel rooms for next weekends tournament.
Three weeks from Nationals in San Jose.
Hopefully we will be bringing a championship trophy home from that also!

goalie shot is great. I'm guessing that's the shooter's stick. lens is working well for you.

Actually that stick is from one of her defensemen.
The 300 is working wonderfully! I just got done saving all the good shots from tonight's game. I will post acouple soon. I also vow I will never, ever part with this lens...unless I need to sell it to get the 400 2.8 when I start shooting NHL games!
And then I will wake up...
New shots coming up tomorrow morning.

Those are some pretty nice photos. I like the nice shot of the puck and looking at the focus of the defence men's eyes.

Well wonderful things have been happening this weekend.
A. We were hired to shoot the tournament for sure next weekend.
B. They are paying for at least our hotel accomodations.
C. I had to dump Photoshop CS because it kept making my Mac freeze.
D. In the process of dumpting Photoshop I somehow lost my Safari also!
E. Luckily I got some stunning shots of the u-12's yesterday that makes me feel pretty good.
F. But now I can't post them on here because I have to deal with how to get my stuff back and fix my computer!
G. Im just going to curl up in a ball in the corner and weep!
Ok so I should be trying to fix all this crap tonight and tomorrow. So I won't be posting any of my shots for the next day or so but I am very happy with the results from yesterdays games.
I cannot tell you guys how happy I am I purchased my 300 2.8 IS. The only time it ever comes off the body is to put it away to keep it clean. Ok Im done for now.
If someone can send me an apple guy to help please PM me so I can try and fix this before I throw my computer out the window!
