Just wondering, if I order a lens from US, is the lens covered by Canadian warranty?

Cause I am thinking of buying a 10D, and I believe it should work great. but just in case the "focus issue" that I might need to send the camera and lens to Canon service, so I wonder if Canon Canada would accept the lens I ordered from US?

Thanks a lot.

I've never had ANY problem getting warranty service on any Canon product I have purchased whether it had a US or any other warranty card.

Getting it serviced RIGHT is another thread!

Despite what others have said (What an opinionated lot!) Canon (at least US) seems to service anything with any valid warranty.

The warranty card that came with the last lens I ordered from the US had the following as a heading:

Canon International Warranty
Canon USA INC --- Canon Canada INC.

It also gave Canon's US and Canadian adresses in the mail-in info.
