Shot this one a while back. Never did get much criticism on it. What do you guys think? Shot with a little ol' SD700. The banding in the sky is from resolution. Hadda scale down for the web, doesn't have that in real shot.

I'm new to this, and I always hear people leave comments like "the bush on the left is distracting". I'm pretty sure however that the city would have issues with cutting them down. If you move until it's not in the shot, you've spoiled the angle. The bush is distracting, and you cut off the top of the near tower, but I do like the picture. I think it's a beautiful night-shot actually. Just next time, pack your saw... and bail money. hehehe

Thanks knt3424. Yea, I gotta bring some hedgecutters with me. It was impossible for me to get a better shot unfortunately. :(

not a bad shot, but u are right, that bush is definitely taking up allot of the shot! try may shooting the bridge from another angle. walk around a little bit more and see what kind of angles you can find.
Also. are you using a tripod? the photo looks a little bit blurry and from what ive been learning about shooting at night, you gotta have godlike stillness in your hands, or a tripod.
keep up the work!

Too blurry. Were you using a tripod? Are you sure it wasn't OOF?
Composition is nice, besides the bush lol. But overall a nice shot just too blurry for me.

Yea and I had lost the tripod handle :p. Meaning it was SITTING on the tripod lol, not fastened to it. It was almost nearly impossible to keep it still for too long. The exp. time was like 8 seconds or something, so for an almost hand-held shot it didn't come out as bad as it could have! :p

Very low quality and blury...You can see squares in the sky, when it's supposed to be smooth.
You mind showing us the good resolution version...? It might appeal to some more.

How big is the file?
If it's less than 1 meg, upload it to Photobucket. You can choose " 1 Megabyte File" under "Upload Options." This way you can upload a size larger than 800x600, as long as it is under 1 meg.
Or, just try imageshack.us if it's under 1.5 megs.

Ahh, yes, that looks much better. The bush is indeed very distracting, but it's not bad, the rest of the photo. There is evident noise in the sky, and throughout the photo, but it looks much much better than the web version you showed us. One thing you could have done was resize from 1050,787 pixels to below 800x600, that would save dialup people some time if they really wanted to open it. It's a nice capture, good work.
