Sigma Lens Hood

i lost the stock lens hood for my 105EX macro. i'd like to get another
SIGMA hood, but can't find anyone selling. no hoods even listed in the
accessories at the Sigma site. anyone have a source?

I don't know where you can get the hood, but how about contacting Sigma directly?

For what it's worth, the hood screws onto 58mm threads, is 1.5" tall and 3-1/8" diameter. Perhaps you can find one close to this? You don't need one exactly this size because of the digital crop factor. And considering that the front element is quite recessed you could probably get away without a hood for almost all shots.

You can buy this type of Part from Sigma directly,. they have offices and facilities in Long Island NY if I remember corectly...

But it is a little difficult,. you'll need to call,. get a part number... then fax an order with CC info... it's pretty round about... but it can be done. :)
